Deens Kumarasiri
I am Deens Kumarasiri, Sri Lanka guide with Tourist Board license and Chauffeur. During the 28 years of experience in guiding and... organizing tours for local and foreigners, I have successfully guided thousands of international tourists from all over the world through our fantastic country. They have taught me to understand their multi-cultural customs and therefore also the needs of these guests. I speak English as a language.
Special Dutch, German, Belgian and French guests were the most common in recent years. I follow my own guide methods to meet the needs of the guests and make their dreams come true showing the real lifestyle of the Sri Lankan people. Part of the tour is experiencing, feeling, smelling and tasting. Especially During longer tours I always take my guests not only to the tourist highlights but to other small existing places and events
The best way to have a good feeling about the countryside and the people of the country. All those who want to enjoy our culture, nature, history and/or who want to learn about our country, nature or culture can participate in my tour and I will be happy to tell you everything A to Z,Of course, I can also advise on travel, hotels, etc. and arrange this for you. Many guests return with regularity, and I am happy to say: they have become my good friends too - hopefully we can become friends too.

I Born in a small village in the middle of a jungle, relatively far away from the Capital Colombo I, Deens Kumarasiri, was living, for my feelings from today, in the Paradise.
The area was beautifully, a little mountain at a height of 300 meter above sea level, not too many people, who were all living together like a big family.
Due to the remote area we were depending on what the nature us brought. Water from natural wells, food from a small garden, medicines and other vegetables all over around. A playing ground as a small child, however moreover, a training area were father was teaching me every detail about safe and dangerous plants, trees, animals and much more . Growing up I had to go to the local schools and could only reach those ,by walking a long distance through the jungle downwards the mountains. Always searching and watching with some friends the surrounding, learning about plants, animals and specially birds. Small illnesses were treated by natural medicines. The today known by almost everybody as the basis for Ayurveda.
After the basic school, I had to go for further development to the Capital and followed several studies and obtaining the necessary certificates for my future . Followed by English, marketing and Business management Diplomas. However my hearth was still with the beauty of the nature and the cultural history from Sri Lanka. I wanted to share all of these with everybody. Then I joined the Sri Lanka Tourist Board and Tourist Development Authority and followed the course for Tour Guide. After my received license , I joined as a Chauffeur Guide one of biggest travel companies in Sri Lanka, and serve them for about 28 years. With all collected experiences and knowledge I decided to follow my own guiding methods and start my own company with as basis sharing everything with our guests.

Advice for people who are planning a non-organized trip to Sri-Lanka. We have also done so with the idea that we could determine what we wanted to see. We would recommend this to everyone? The advice from us would be to have a good driver and a tour guide in one, who for you everything settles such as good hotels and personal excursions. We had a great one . He had really everything arranged for us. He was waiting for us at the airport and from that moment guided us from A to Z He spoke good English and he understood very well what we asked in the Dutch. To speak the Dutch language however was a little to much demanded. His name is Deens and if we go back, we want him for sure. Our advice to every one is take Deens as tour guide and driver than I am sure you have a holiday that you will never forget.
When we visit Sri Lanka in 2009;2010;2011 and in 2013 We always used the perfect guide who brought us all over the interested places in Sri Lanka. His name is Deens C. Kumarasiri. Not only a perfect guide , he knew all the interested places of the island, not commonly visited by the daily tourist.
