Firstday, after Airport stay in Hotel in Colombo and rest at the hotel. Next morning after the breakfast we drive relaxed to the Pinnawala Elephant orphanage with a lunch in the restaurant, overviewing the bathing from the Elephant, an one time spectacle. From then we follow our journey to Sigiriya and enjoy a Jeep safari (at Minneriya National Park, Eco Park or Kawdulla National Park), over night stay in a charming hotel in Sigiriya.
2nd day early morning climbing the Sigiriya Rock “Lion Rock”, , ,early to avoid the heat later on the day. We shall follow our trip and visit the Cave Temple at Dambulla. After Dambulla we drive to Kandy, not without visiting the Hindu Temple in Matale. Early evening an other spectacle,, , the traditional Sri Lankan dance show in Kandy. Directly after the dancing show we have to visit the Kandy temple “Tooth Temple of Buddha”, without visiting this famous temple you can not claim to have seem the highlights from Sri Lanka, so an absolute must. The night we stay in Kandy
3rd day starts with a visit to the Botanical garden in Peradeniya, Then a fantastic journey through the mountains, seeing the tea fields, even see how the tea is produced in a tea factory and for sure enjoying a fresh cup of tea, waterfalls the over and once in Nuwara Eliya you surely like the cool weather in the evening after the heat during the days before.. 4th day morning we shall make a train trip through the mountains and drop of at Ella, and a overnight stay at Tissamaharama,
5th Day early morning a drive to the Yala Park for a Jeep safari in the natural park. Watch the animals and the lucky once stay in an eye contact with the leopards. Directly after the Safari first a breakfast an after that a very interesting way back along a part of the beautiful coastline, with a stop in the famous Galle, followed by a part express way back to Colombo.
